Matt presented at the first annual Classical Traditions Conference in Salt Lake City, informing the audience of the importance and indispensable nature of Ornament. The two day conference was chock full of interesting presentations, gallery displays of excellent work, and a live drawing in which Matt also participated.

The Chimera Live at CTC 2014
Matt recently had the pleasure and honor of producing this titan mural with Dom Forte & Steve Shriver in front of a live audience over the course of 2 days at the Classical Traditions Conference in Salt Lake City. Many thanks to Robert Baird for the invite to perform, and to Jeff Cobabe for lending his space to practice in, as well as Steve McCurdy and Eli Baird for producing this great time-lapse of the creation. Dimensions of the mural are 7’6” tall by 11’ wide and it was auctioned on site, before it was finished, for $43,000 to help fund scholarships.
