Our Firm Principals bring decades of further lived experience to bear: having spent the years prior to Chicago inhabiting the Rome shaped by millennia, emperors, and popes; Central London refined by monarchs; Washington, DC formalized as the seat of democracy; and living as pedestrians in all of the finer-grained spaces between, formed by centuries of humbler human activity before patrician interventions. True comprehension of urban experiences must be embodied by the designer, and cannot be learned in classrooms or from books, and we bring that knowledge, research, and empathy for the human experience to our Urban Designs & Master Plans.
